Leather and Lace

This piece is the start of my post-graduate, ready to wear body of work. Focused on the alternative fashion and BDSM leather culture market, this look is elegant yet playful - delicate yet strong - and comes in fully customizable length and sizing.

Each leather piece is carefully cut by hand, including the lace-effect hem. Made from rejected/ flawed hides, yet produced in a way that worked around the flaws, this garment breathed new life into materials that otherwise would have contributed to a landfill.

In the spirit of reducing waste, a matching detachable collar is cut from parts of the hide that are typically deemed unusable by the traditional leather industry.
